Skylight House, Sydney by Chenchow Little Architects

Skylight House, Sydney by Chenchow Little Architects

Description :

Located in the bright city of Sydney, this Victorian house has three bedrooms, two bathrooms and an enclosed courtyard that has a banksia tree. The architects at Chenchow Little had to leave the street façade intact because the entire streetfront is heritage listed. The materials and colors are minimalist and pure: raw concrete, glass, white walls and spotted gum hardwood. This simple, bright and modern was awarded the Australian Institute of Architects, NSW Chapter Award for Residential Architecture Alterations and Additions this year.
