How to Create Chamfer-Distances In Autocad 2006

Chamfer is a quick way to create a line between two forms are not parallel. Generally used to obtain a level on the upper edge of a corner.

To create Chamfer with distance follow this steps :

1. Create an object like the picture below :

2. From MODIFY menu, choose CHAMFER or click chamfer icon on modify toolbar or type chamfer on command line.

3. Press d (distances).

4. Specify first chamfer distance.

5. Specify second chamfer distance.

6. Select first line to apply (1).

7. Select second line to apply (2).
